Q: How do I take care of my tree?

  • To ensure your Christmas tree stays fresh and beautiful throughout the holidays, follow these simple steps:
  • 1. Choose the Right Stand:
    • Select a stable tree stand that can securely hold your tree without tipping.
    • Ensure it has a water reservoir that's large enough to accommodate the tree's size (aim for 1 liter of water per inch of stem diameter).
  • 2. Prepare Your Tree:
    • Fresh Cut: All our trees get a fresh cut just before delivery, but if your tree has been left for more than 5 hours, using a saw, make a fresh cut of about a 3 cm disk from the base of the trunk. This will clear the trunk from built-up sap and help the tree absorb water better.
    • Secure the Tree: This is a two-person job! Secure the tree in the stand, ensuring it's straight and upright.
  • 3. Water, Water, Water!:
    • Initial Watering: Your tree will need a lot of water initially, so fill the stand's reservoir completely.  Top Tip: Devolve a cup of sugar in boiling hot water, let it cool cold, and then add this for the first drink!
    • Regular Watering: Check the water level regularly and refill as needed. Avoid letting the water level drop below the base of the trunk.
    • Water Temperature: The water temperature doesn't matter; just keep feeding as needed.
  • 4. Placement is Key:
    • Choose the Right Spot: Clear a space large enough to accommodate the tree's diameter and make sure it's not near any heat sources, such as fireplaces or radiators.

Q: Where are your trees coming from?

A: We source our trees from environmentally responsible farms located in Oregon on the US West Coast. These farms practice sustainable forestry, ensuring the production of high-quality Christmas trees while protecting the environment. They plant numerous new trees for every tree they harvest, ensuring a sustainable supply for future generations.
